  • Do you have an office I can visit?
    No, but you can see our suggestions for practices in the area if you are having an issue with your pet by clicking on the button below.
  • What services do you offer?
    We are a limited services clinic. Only offering spay neuter by appointment and walk-in vaccine clinics on scheduled days only. We do not see sick pets requiring physical exams, radiology services or hospitalization. Check out our calendar to see when we'll be in your area next for a wellness clinic. See our calendar
  • Do you see sick pets?
    No, we can refer you to a local clinic for those services.
  • Do I need an appointment for spay neuter?
    Yes, you need an appointment for spay neuter. You can check out our calendar on where we will be next and contact the rescue group for that location to get scheduled.
  • What do I do if my pet is having a surgical complication?
    Email SnipSnip@cpetsmvc.com If concerned your pet is having a true emergency, please contact one of the suggested clinics at the button below. A true emergency can be determined if your pet is exhibiting the following symptoms: pale gums depression unsteady/wobbling vomiting/diarrhea loss of appetite discharge or bleeding from the incision difficulty urinating or defecating labored breathing
  • My pet is licking, what do I do?
    It is highly recommended that you go home with an e-collar or surgical suit to prevent licking post operatively. This will keep the incision clean and dry and prevent infections from happening.
  • Why is spay/neuter important for my pet?
    1. It reduces the numbers of homeless dogs and cats being euthanized in shelter 2. It reduces unwanted litters 3. It reduces the likelihood of mammary cancer in females and testicular cancer in males 4. It reduces the likelihood of an infection in the uterus, called a pyometra 5. It reduces unwanted behavior
  • What vaccines does my pet need?
    The NC State Law requires every pet to have an updated Rabies vaccine. It is also highly recommended to vaccinate your dog against Distemper, Parvo, Leptospirosis and your cat against Feline Distemper and Leukemia. If your dog goes to the groomer or doggy daycare, it is also recommended they stay up to date on their Bordatella (Kennel Cough) vaccine.   • Does my pet need heartworm prevention?
    YES! Heartworms are parasites that are spread by mosquitoes. A mosquito will bite an infected dog or cat and transmit baby worms into your pet. The best way to prevent this is with monthly heartworm prevention. We offer an oral pill for dogs and a topical for cats.
  • Does my pet need flea control?
    YES! Fleas are everywhere in NC and they are around all year, so it is important to treat your pets against fleas. We offer several options for you to choose from.
  • Can I get my prevention medications from you?
    If we have seen your pet for a procedure, we can provide you with prevention medications that you will do at home. If we have not seen your pet, be sure to stop by one of our pop-up wellness clinics when we are in your area, so we can get you set up with that service. See our pop up clinic schedule
  • Do you perform euthanasia?
    No, we do not provide any other services except spay neuter and wellness care.
